When Ron Ten Berge was a kid, he loved
movies filled with action and adventure. He absolutely adored the Indiana Jones movies. He remembers the
first movie he went to see was Steven Spielberg’s classic, Jaws.
He was only ten years old and distinctly remembers the fear
her felt from seeing the giant shark. He
also recalls going to the theatre to watch the original Star Wars in 1977. He remembers the special effects, the super
high-tech lasers, and the great music—he remembers it being an awesome
experience.
When Ron Ten Berge’s own son was young, they loved watching action
and adventure movies like the James Bond series and Indiana Jones as well. His son’s childhood movie interests mirrored
his own. His daughter loved movies that were specifically aimed at young girls
like The Princess Bride.
Ron Ten
Berge also enjoyed watching television shows such as Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and Bonanza. Other movies Ron loved include the Rambo series, the Terminator,
Mad Max and he loves a good Western
since he grew up in a small California town that looked a lot like the TV
settings of the Wild West.
