Being an expert on brands, Ron Ten Berge realizes that through the advent (and intensity) of social media, more and more, people are looking at themselves as brands. 



He thinks this is okay. In fact, people have always been brands—their brands in the early days were simply their reputations. 

It is just that technology has changed things and it is more noticeable now.
